Our Fresh Tresses Shampoo Bar is formulated with 7 quality oils in addition to Rhassoul Clay, Sea Kelp and Rosemary, Eucalyptus and Peppermint Essential Oils.

It has been certified as both a shampoo and a body soap.  We found it worked best for shorter untreated hair. It is good on any skin type as a body soap.

Contrary to commercial shampoos, these bars do not act as a detergent that strips your scalp, hair, and skin from the natural oils it produces. The natural ingredients gently clean the hair and condition it at the same time.

Rhassoul Clay
This clay reduces dryness in the hair while removing toxins and product build-up at the same time. It cleanses the hair, leaving it soft and moisturised. Also good to help it detangle while reducing flakiness.

Sea Kelp
Kelp contains many of the essential nutrients to ensure hair growth. It also contains laminaria angustata, which is believed to thicken hair. This abundance of minerals helps stimulate hair growth.

Rosemary Essential Oil
It is a true hair hero. It heals the hair follicles and increases hair growth; preventing future baldness. Its contribution to good scalp health is its ability to improve blood circulation in the scalp follicles.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil
Stimulates the hair follicles.
Improved hair health - improve the shine, thickness, and overall health of your hair.
Relief from an itchy scalp.

Peppermint Essential Oil
It can help stimulate hair growth because of increased blood circulation around the scalp. It is a powerhouse of nutrients and minerals and is great for treating flaky scalp.
 
A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO CONDITIONER:
After shampooing, it is important to restore the natural pH of your scalp and hair if you live in a hard water area or have damaged hair.   You need to reduce the pH of your rinse water to avoid product build-up and close the cuticles of your hair.   It is SUCH an important step of your hair routine and is often the reason so many people fail to adapt to a shampoo bar.
 
To add smoothness, shine, and lustre to your hair, add a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar to your rinse water or look at our pHabsolute Clarity Hair Rinse which has organic rice protein to strengthen hair and natural silicone to help with the shine and protection.  It acts as a natural conditioner.
 
This powdered acid rinse does not leave an odour, is easy to mix, and is light to travel with.  You only need 1ml in your rinse water to leave your hair silky soft and build-up-free!
 
NOTE:
Please note that your hair might go through a detox period that could last a week to weeks if your hair still has build-up from commercial shampoo - in this case, it makes a big difference if you detox your hair first.   See our Clay Day Mask that will do this for you.

PREGNANCY:
Rosemary Essential oils should be avoided in large quantities during pregnancy. The shampoo bar contains less than 1% of Rosemary Essential Oil (according to regulatory requirements). We always recommend you check with a medical professional or qualified aromatherapist if unsure.
